Weird Science

I wasn't much of a science girl
in school.
I remember tolerating zoology
and having a mild interest in astronomy,
but none of it was really my cup of tea.
I'd much rather read a good book
or have an interesting creative writing assignment
that I could pour myself into.

But this is cool!
This is Michael's white blood cell model.

He worked on it for two days....
sometimes with an audience.

He's pretty happy with how it turned out.
I am too!
Who knew that a white blood cell could be so interesting!?
Perhaps I should have listened a little more to
my science teachers in school
instead of passing notes with
my BFF, Deedra Dean.

Oh well, that's the bonus of having kids, right?
We get to learn it with them all over again.

Michael gets 20 extra points for turning his project
in before the weekend.
Great job, Michael!!
