Absent from the body.....

Present with the Lord.

Surrounded by those who loved him,
Paul Mangione went to be with the Lord
at around 8:00 pm EST.

His smile will shine in the eyes of those who knew him
and his laughter will ring in our hearts.
My family and I will cherish the time we had with him,
will remember the lessons he taught us
and will be so thankful that we had the opportunity to know him.

Please continue to pray for my mother, Joyce.
She loved Paul with everything she had
and while she knows that Paul's work on this earth is done,
and she has faith in God to get her through this,
she still needs her heart filled with overwhelming peace,
lasting comfort
and supernatural grace
during this time.

My heart aches for your mom and family, my eyes filled with tears.

You looked like such a gentle man with a big kind heart in the first picture and the pic of them playing on the see-saw he looked like a guy who knew how to enjoy every moment in life.

My prayers to your mom and family and that you all get the needed strength each day.

I am so sorry
*hugs from Canada*

Oh Becca, I'm so sorry. I didn't know and my heart is just breaking for you mom. I saw the transformation in your mom; how filled with love she was with Paul. How wonderful her life was. I'll be there, physically next to her, as much as I can be.

I am so very sorry.
When my mom passed away last year, the only thing that seemed to get through to me was a card that said,"The same arms that comfort you now in your grief, are welcoming your loved one home."
God bless you all. Our prayers are with you.

Becky, I'm so sorry. I only met Paul briefly at Mammaws funeral, but I could see the love between your mom and Paul. He was gentle, sincere and very loving. My thoughts and prayers are with your Mom and your family! I love you all so much and I know how your heart must be breaking. Please keep us informed of the funeral details. Much love always!

To be absent from the body - means present in the Lord. What a wonderful place to be. Praying for your mom and your family as they seek peace in the days to come. May God's peace that passes all understanding overcome your mom!

Awww Becca I am so sorry for your family's loss. I'll pray for your Mom and for you all. You are a brilliant photographer because all these photos in the past two posts show the love this man had for your Mom, and her for him. What beautiful memories you captured for her to keep forever.

I hope you won't mind if I put a link to your blog in my post. Your photos show such joy and love between your mom and Paul. I'd like my friends to see it, because like you said, the love was rare.
