Cross Country Road Trip Day Two....

Because of bad weather
and closed roads in the park,
we decided to skip Yellowstone
and head east on 90.
Day two took us through Idaho and into
Montana.
Our guest photographer for this leg is
Michael
(who I think may have some talent)!

Day two brought us diverse conditions.
We had rain and hail,
high winds,
gorgeous blue skies
and foreboding dark clouds.
Montana is very two faced.
She begins lush and civilized
and ends barren and wild.

After an 8 hour drive,
we made our first stop outside of Washington
in Billings, Montana.
We are headed to Rapid City, South Dakota
in the morning!
