Fishes and Leaves.............

Although the trees still have a bit to go before they are completely adorned in red and gold, it has begun!

Leaves

How silently they tumble down

And come to rest upon the ground

To lay a carpet, rich and rare,

Beneath the trees without a care,

Content to sleep,

their work well done,

Colors gleaming in the sun.
At other times, they wildly fly

Until they nearly reach the sky.

Twisting, turning through the air

Till all the trees stand stark and bare.

Exhausted, drop to earth below

To wait, like children, for the snow.

Bren finds the first fruits of Autumn's descent in the form of a mysterious pod containing little green beans....magic beans I would assume for they held my little one endlessly captivated and full of wonder!

Our boys have been bitten by a bug called "Imustfish"! This bug strangely lures them to the shore and sends them home smelling of all kinds of sea life! It also puts huge smiles on their faces and makes them tell stories of brave conquests against strong and elusive creatures of the sea!

I think this must be a host of the "Imustfish" bug because it seems to worsen their symptoms!
